What is Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin)?
Nandrolone Decanoate has been one of the most popular anabolic androgenic steroids (kur AAS) in bodybuilding from the very beginning. It is better known by its brand name Deca Durabolin and is often simply called “Deca”. The decoanate is added to give the drug a long lasting effect of around three weeks.
Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin) is so popular because it can be used specifically to define your muscles (nandrolone is closely related to testosterone) and has comparatively few side effects. It also combines well with other steroids. Mixing different active ingredients and substances is also called stacking.
Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin) belongs to the anabolic steroids (anabolic androgenic steroids – AAS). That is, it has a muscle-building (anabolic) and a masculinizing (androgenic) effect. In its chemical structure it is similar to testosterone. Nandrolone Decanoate is also an injectable steroid, meaning it is delivered into the body via an injection.
Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin): What can the steroid do?
Since every steroid has disadvantages as well as advantages, you should use it responsibly! We recommend that you do not exceed the weekly dosage amount of 600 mg. Up to 600 mg “Deca” works wonders, from a higher dosage the disadvantages usually outweigh the benefits. For steroid novices we recommend not to exceed 200 mg weekly. Overall, you should always pay attention to your body and listen to the signals. Every person is different and also reacts differently to the substances.

Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin) has a muscle-building and strength-enhancing effect. This is the anabolic effect. Tissue, skeletal muscle, bone density and red blood cells also gain mass, so it is an all-rounder in the world of anabolic androgen steroids (AAS). Unlike other steroids, it has little or no aggression-increasing and feminizing effects (anti-estrogen). The drug Deca Durabolin is also used to rebuild bone mass, i.e. to treat osteoporosis. In principle, all anabolic androgenic steroids can cause hair loss, deeper voice, more body hair and acne due to the androgenic effect. Women in particular should reconsider taking testosterone preparations or be careful with them in order to keep an eye on the masculinizing effect. In addition, female athletes may experience altered menstrual cycles, hoarseness and voice changes, hair loss, clitoral growth, etc. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, anabolic steroids are of course also taboo.
Nandrolone Decanoate (Deca Durabolin) Usage
Nandrolone Decanoate is used intramuscularly by injection – i.e. the needle is injected into the muscle. From there it slowly enters the blood, where the active ingredient Deca Durabolin is converted into nandrolone. Thanks to the added decanoate, the half-life is extended to about three weeks.
Deca Durabolin is a clear, yellow, oily liquid that contains the anabolic steroid. It can develop its effect only with sufficient calorie and protein intake. At least 2.5 g of protein per kilogram of body weight experts advise.
Beginners are advised to seek advice on injecting from a knowledgeable person. There are also good instructions on the Internet. In addition, as a beginner you should increase the dose slowly and only start stacking (i.e. combining with other active ingredients) after a period of acclimatization. If side effects occur, you can find out faster what the problem is!
As mentioned before: Deca Durabolin is a good base steroid and can easily be combined / stacked with other steroids to improve or prolong the effect.

When taking Deca, it should be noted that with such an extensive intervention in the hormonal system of the body, you should do an On-Cycle-Therapy as well as a Post-Cycle-Therapy (Cycle Support) in order to stop the preparation safely and without risks.
