There are no long-term studies on the potential side effects of octodrine in humans. In several animal experiments, octodrine was doing very well. This type of compound is less potent than amphetamines and therefore safer. As a potential side effect is speculated about hypertension. However, this should be increased less than was the case after consuming DMAA .
